Sales Specialist - Biomolecules and Advanced Therapeutics (Europe)

Role responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process – Drive revenue across biomolecule and advanced therapies product portfolio.
- Responsible for lead generation and management including identification, initial qualification and development of leads.
- Deliver hands-on demos and technical seminars that showcase our cutting-edge solutions.
- Collaborate with product management, global sales team and marketing on campaigns, trade shows and webinars.
- Represent Biotage at key industry events and work closely with our automation platform partners
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree within Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
- Proven sales experience of instruments, consumables and software sales within Biopharma/Life Sciences.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Expertise in plasmid, viral vector, antibody and protein purification. Knowledge of cell and gene therapy application areas, and mass spec sample prep would be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- Knowledge of cell & gene therapy application areas, and mass spec sample prep an advantage
- Proficient in the use of CRM (Salesforce)
This is a field-based role working at customer sites and in Biology laboratories (Field based 2 – 4 days)
