Sales Manager
Key responsibilities: Identify, engage, and secure new customers across FCL, LCL, air freight, and integrated logistics services. Drive rapid volume ramp-up through consistent daily prospecting, including outbound calls, strategic customer visits, and targeted follow-up on qualified leads. Win market share from competitors by leveraging value-based selling, strong solution positioning, and effective rate negotiation. Maintain a robust and well-qualified sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth. Expand share of wallet within newly onboarded accounts by aligning solutions with customer needs and growth opportunities. Cross-sell deugro’s full suite of services, including customs brokerage, warehousing, transportation, and value-added logistics offerings. Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on acquiring new logos and converting competitor-controlled accounts. Strengthen key trade lanes (Intra-Asia, US, EU, Australia, etc.) through targeted commercial actions and customer development initiatives. Foster strong collaboration with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service to deliver competitive, customer-centric solutions. Monitor competitor pricing trends, market fluctuations, carrier capacity constraints, and buying behavior to anticipate customer needs. Share timely market intelligence and customer insights with the Business Development Manager and Pricing teams to enable more informed commercial decisions. Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with high-value customers and senior stakeholders. Serve as the escalation point for the service issues, ensuring swift resolution and safeguarding customer satisfaction. Track and report weekly sales performance, forecast accuracy, and pipeline progress to ensure transparency and alignment with business goals. Ensure full CRM compliance through accurate and timely daily updates across all active opportunities and customer interactions. Prepare and deliver monthly business review presentations, highlighting key achievements, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
