In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, aligned with the overall strategy. You will work toward achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue generation, profitability, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction. You will also apply your expertise to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
Work model for the role: #LI - Onsite
This position supports Process Automation in Energy Industries for the India Region.
Key stakeholders include Operations teams, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Regional HSE Managers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the Indian market to drive growth and market penetration.
Lead and support the sales team to achieve targets across solutions, products, and services, while fostering collaboration across divisions.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage strategic negotiations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify new business opportunities, manage risks including cybersecurity, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Qualifications for the role
Proven experience of 15+ years in sales, preferably within the blending market (paints, lubricants, specialty chemicals, food & beverage).
Strong proficiency in Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
Demonstrated expertise in portfolio management, business strategy, and market intelligence.
Degree in Business Administration or Engineering, with a solid background in market analysis and sales execution.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to lead teams, drive performance, and foster a customer-centric culture.
Knowledge of compliance standards and risk management practices, including cybersecurity awareness.
