Sales Compensation Analyst (temporary contract until 31.12.2026)

Primary Function of Position:

The Sales Compensation Analyst – Europe is a key member of the Global Sales Compensation team and reports to the Sales Compensation Manager for Europe, based in Aubonne, Switzerland.

This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end administration, analysis, and governance of sales compensation programs across the European region. The Analyst partners closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure accurate commission fulfillment, scalable processes, and compensation plans that effectively support regional and global sales strategies.

A core component of the role is transforming compensation data into clear insights, quarterly leadership reporting, and lessons learned, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement of compensation programs.

The position also plays an active role in Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system administration, reporting automation (Tableau), workflow enablement (Power Apps), and data management (Snowflake and SQL), as well as the rollout and communication of annual and special incentive programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other Sales Compensation team members and Sales Operations partners to solve sales compensation-related business problems.
  • Administer and govern sales compensation programs through the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system, including employee assignment to appropriate compensation plans, roles and quotas, ensuring compliance with governance standards
  • Maintain compensation plan documentation, including terms & conditions, eligibility rules, and Fine Prints.
  • Develop and deploy sales compensation dashboards using Tableau, Snowflake SQL
  • Deliver quarterly leadership reporting, highlighting regional performance, payout analysis, plan effectiveness, insights, and lessons learned.
  • Provide analytical support for annual compensation plan design and modeling.
  • Build and maintain Power Apps workflows supporting commission submissions, approvals, and exception handling
  • Act as a primary contact for sales compensation inquiries, providing system support, troubleshooting, and guidance.
  • Deliver training and enablement to new hires and sales teams on compensation plans, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Support special incentive programs (SPIFs), including tracking, reporting, motivation communications, and payout validation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience administering and analyzing complex sales compensation programs in a fast‑paced, international environment.
  • Strong experience with Incentive Compensation Management systems (ICM). Varicent ICM is a plus
  • Advanced analytical skills with Tableau or similar BI tools and strong SQL capabilities (Snowflake preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions).
  • Experience designing and supporting workflow tools (Power Apps or similar).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect compensation design to sales strategy and performance outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and deliver insightful, data‑backed recommendations
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.

This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on
business need and/or on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills.
Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
