In this role you will lead the creation, maintenance, sourcing and review of written content specifically for RFPs, DDQs and Consultant Databases in EMEA and APAC, liaising with SMEs across the business. This role will be entirely focused on the critical function of content build out and improvement. The role depends on frequent strategic discussions, rapid content validation and active participation in forums where messaging, regulatory updates and product positioning are set. The content needs to be suitable for global consumption, which means liaison with executive level business partners and SMEs worldwide, as well as an understanding of regional nuances. The role includes the management of one senior content specialist and two consultant database specialists. There may be occasional need to source content for live RFPs.
This role provides an important partnership for the RFP team, providing specialist content across a wide spectrum of business channels, regions, asset classes, solutions and strategies, as well as corporate and operational content, working closely with the RFP team and using Qvidian, AI and other systems extensively. The focus and importance placed on SFDR, ESG & RI by our client base has made this position quite broad in scope.
To be successful in this role you will have...
- Extensive experience in completing institutional level RFPs for an active asset manager across a variety of strategies; first hand experience of completing consultant and other third party databases; and to be an experienced team manager, performing appraisals and setting goals.
- Experience of using Qvidian or similar content database; working knowledge of AI associated with Qvidian so that this capability can be championed within the team,
- Strong communicator: mature approach to stakeholder management and building effective working relationships within the firm and the RFP Team;
- Self starter, to help shape the role and take charge, coming up with new ideas to add value.
- Good understanding of a wide variety of asset classes and investment solutions within asset management, eg active equities, fixed income, multi asset, solutions, real estate, ETFs and more;
- Proven writing, editing, proof reading and analytical skills in an RFP context;
