Job Description
We’re seeking a Developer and Security Code Remediation Engineer with strong development experience and deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. In this role, you will review and validate code fixes, assess false positives, and evaluate design controls to ensure secure, high-quality applications.Key Responsibilities:
Identify, analyze, and remediate code vulnerabilities, especially OWASP Top 10 issues.
Partner with development teams to validate vulnerability fixes.
Independently - Review security findings, determine false positives, and decide appropriate action.
Evaluate design controls within the codebase and determine risk acceptability.
Provide guidance on secure coding and best practices.
Intake resolved tickets for code security flaws and action
Required Skills:
5+ years in software development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar).
Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and remediation techniques.
Ability to interpret vulnerability reports and make risk‑based decisions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Service Management – ServiceNow ticketing process
Team Management and Leadership qualities
Strong Communications and Negotiation Skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAST/DAST tools.
Knowledge of secure design principles or threat modeling.
