  • Design and architect scalable platform solutions using Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies to support retail and e-commerce operations
  • Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures that handle high-volume transaction processing and real-time data requirements
  • Implement and optimize APIs and integration points to enable seamless connectivity between retail systems, payment processors, and third-party services
  • Establish and maintain DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and containerization strategies
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and platform enhancements
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure platform reliability and scalability
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize platform downtime
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to retail and e-commerce platforms
  • Document platform architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance
  • Solid experience building, operating, and maintaining traditional infrastructure environments, particularly Windows Server ecosystems, including associated security tools and services.
  • Proven experience applying system and security updates to remediate vulnerabilities, fix bugs, and ensure the overall security and stability of infrastructure and data.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Experience in vulnerability management, including system patching, security hardening, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure services and applications running on Windows operating systems.
  • Practical experience building and operating cloud-based infrastructure within Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, as well as containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with technical leads and development teams to build and maintain infrastructure that supports all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with scripting languages, particularly PowerShell and shell scripting, to automate operational and infrastructure tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar configuration management platforms.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar DevOps platforms.
  • Availability to participate in on-call rotations, with a focus on automation and reliability engineering to minimize operational overhead.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments is considered a strong plus.
