Resource Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize bench strength to ensure minimal idle time and maximum resource
utilization.
- Oversee capacity planning by forecasting demand and aligning workforce availability with
current and future project needs.
- Coordinate with delivery, sales, and recruitment teams to plan resource allocation and hiring
requirements.
- Track and report on utilization of metrics, availability, and deployment status.
- Ensure timely movement of resources from bench to billable projects.
- Maintain accurate workforce data, including skills, experience, location, and availability.
- Support leadership with workforce analytics, insights, and periodic reports.
- Assist in strategic workforce planning initiatives and continuous process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 35 years of experience in resource management / workforce planning.
- Strong hands-on experience in bench management and capacity management.
- Good understanding of IT services or project-based resource allocation models.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, workforce management tools, or HR systems.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
