We are seeking a highly experienced and technically fluent Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead a large‑scale software release train within the Resilient Connectivity Products portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of modern software development practices, architectures, and lifecycle execution within complex, high‑reliability environments. The RTE will act as the servant leader, facilitator, and operational driver for an Agile Release Train (ART) delivering mission‑critical, secure, and scalable software solutions that enable resilient connectivity for our customers.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience guiding multi‑team software programs, coordinating software architecture and system engineering inputs, and ensuring predictable delivery across highly integrated software product lines. This individual will partner closely with Program Leadership, Software Engineering, and Architecture to maintain alignment across teams and ensure continuous improvement in software flow, quality, and performance.

What You Will Do:
Facilitate all ART ceremonies and maintain alignment across software teams.
Drive execution of PI objectives with focus on predictable, high‑quality software delivery.Partner with Product Management and Software Architecture to maintain a technically informed program backlog.
Identify, track, and resolve cross‑team software dependencies, risks, and impediments.
Coach teams and leaders on Agile/SAFe practices and modern software development flow.
Ensure consistent use of Agile and engineering tools for visibility and metrics.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize software throughput and integration.
Coordinate with external partners and other ARTs for integrated software delivery.
Maintain strong awareness of software architecture, system constraints, and technical drivers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
8+ years of engineering or program leadership experience in complex software development environments, preferably involving large-scale, integrated systems.
3+ years of experience as an Release Train Engineer (RTE), Program Manager, or senior Agile delivery leader supporting multi‑team software programs.
Demonstrated experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks as applied to software development.
Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
Proven experience working with distributed software teams and large, interconnected software product lines.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
SAFe RTE, SPC, or equivalent Agile certifications.
Experience with connectivity, networking, resilient communications, or embedded software products.
Familiarity with mission‑critical, safety‑relevant, or regulated aerospace/defense software development environments.
Experience driving Lean‑Agile and software transformation initiatives, including DevSecOps practices and automation improvements.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
