Record To Report
Location: Pune
Role Summary:
The Record to Report (R2R) General Ledger professional is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely month-end and year-end close, and preparing financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage General Ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities within defined timelines
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in the ERP system
- Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP / IFRS
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and intercompany teams for smooth close processes
- Handle fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and capitalization
- Assist in audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations
- Monitor and comply with internal controls, SOX requirements, and accounting policies
- Identify process improvements and support standardization and automation initiatives
Business acumen
• 1-7 years of experience in Record to Report
• Good domain exposure of RTR
