A Day in the Life:
Develop and share knowledge of QA best practices both internally and with customers’ teams Ensure test strategies are in context of current business processes and incorporates how the business uses our systemsRepresent the QA function as needed in our internal initiatives and communicate status back to the teamLead testing activities for assigned projectsEnsure quality of software and adherence to user story requirements before release to our customersDefine the test strategy and scope for assigned projects, implementing QA best practicesEstimate and communicate quality assurance effort for assigned workDevelop comprehensive test plans and test casesIdentify and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure all necessary levels of testing are performedMake recommendations to cross-functional teams for improvement of applications based on company strategies Identify, mitigate, and drive product issues and risks to resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional team members to define user stories, acceptance criteria, deliverables, and product risksAnalyze user story requirements and validate their testabilityLog defect reports and perform retest of defects as requiredCommunicate test progress and results and other relevant informationWhat You Bring:
5+ years of industry experience working as a Quality analyst in an IT Service Desk environmentSolid understanding of ServiceNow and other ITSM tools to assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis5+ years recent experience with a consulting services organizationServiceNow client-facing engagement or delivery experienceServiceNow Automated Test Framework knowledge and experienceExcellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detailCapacity to continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the teamCapability to quickly learn and adapt to new business and technical conceptsExperience with Microsoft Office, and ServiceNowWhat Makes You Extra Awesome:
