Role Overview
The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the entire accounts payable function, ensuring timely and
accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role is critical for
maintaining strong vendor relationships, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal
controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
- Enter invoices into the ERP system and ensure correct coding.
- Process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) according to payment schedules.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist with month-end closing and AP reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Good Communication
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and AP best practices.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
