Production Test Technician III
Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Follow methods and procedures from drawings, diagrams and test plans. Will complete rework on assemblies and / or systems as a result of testing. Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. Level 3 technicians may assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Has substantial understanding of company policies and procedures and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedules while producing high quality products to standards.
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- Normally receives little instruction on daily work, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
- Act as a champion of the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.
- Time and attendance are in accordance with company policies, procedures and work area schedule.
- Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of finished product to support customer service levels.
- Advise management of adverse manufacturing and/or equipment conditions and issues that are affecting production and /or safety.
- Prepare and properly store test certifications.
- Properly identify typical failure modes and participate in Root Cause Analysis activities.
- Report nonconforming product and material following company policies (NCM creation) and established work area procedures.
- Identify overdue or potentially overdue work orders and alert managers.
- Adhere to all established health and safety rules.
- Be able to help in more than one area within the department and/or other departments
- Constantly review current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend changes to eliminate waste and to promote cost reductions without sacrificing quality.
- Identify and report all adverse conditions of the facility to management.
- As a highly skilled technician, one is expected to exceed standard times consistently.
- This position acts as the liaison to Manufacturing Operations.

Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
Experience:
- 4+ years of related experience
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment a plus
- Experience working with Manual lathes, Mills and Presses a definite plus
Skills:
- Have good manual dexterity
- Computer skills including but not limited to email communication, MRP/ERP use and PowerBI.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Enjoy contributing to a diverse manufacturing group
- Able to embrace change
- Be a Team Player
- Must be a highly organized, self-managed individual who works with minimum supervision and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 20 pounds
Pay range: $24.50 - $32.35 per hour, depending on experience plus annual bonus target.

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
