Privacy Analyst Location: Alexandria (Hybrid) Are you passionate about privacy, technology, and responsible data use? We’re looking for a Privacy Analyst to join our team and help drive privacy, risk, and compliance outcomes across BRG. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of privacy, technology, governance, and innovation, and wants to make a real impact across business and technical teams. What you’ll be doing Manage and respond to data subject requests across multiple jurisdictions within legally mandated timeframes, maintaining accurate audit trails Support the ongoing development and governance of BRG’s Privacy Platform and associated tooling Leverage automation and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve privacy operations and compliance at scale Maintain data mapping inventories, records of processing activities, and region-specific privacy and cookie notices Support and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) Manage privacy enquiries and help identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks, issues, and incidents Maintain and update technology risk and incident registers Coordinate and conduct third-party and technology asset risk assessments Partner with cross-functional teams to embed Privacy by Design and Responsible Use of Data principles across the product and technology lifecycle Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver privacy-enhancing and data-related features Apply privacy and security best practices aligned to the NIST Privacy Framework and relevant regulatory standards Contribute to privacy awareness training, communications, and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with the in-house legal team to support privacy compliance activities Support the investigation, assessment, and management of privacy incidents
