WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
 As Principle, Art Direction, Energy, you’ll be part of the Brand Creative team at Nike’s European Headquarters in the Netherlands. Reporting to the Senior Creative Director, you’ll work with a team of Designers, Producers, Strategists and Writers, leading project teams across multiple workstreams. Beyond the Nike EMEA Brand Creative core team, you will also work a lot with external creatives – commissioning various work across multiple fields. You will closely collaborate with the Global Energy team to ensure consistency across our work and help establish and develop our creative network.

Within the broader Marketing organization, your main partners internally will be Energy Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, Partner Marketing and Sports Marketing on an EMEA and city level. You will have to partner and to strategize with the teams against our concept map, to develop and deliver compelling, culturally resonant work across EMEA.

On a project level you will work with the external Energy collaborators and their team. Strategic co-creation is key – your role will place you at the intersection of two brands. Finding the right opportunities for Nike and the collaborators to co-create in ways that suits both brands, and pushes both entities to areas they couldn’t go by themselves. Maintaining the health of the relationship by ensuring that both sides are adequately involved and in support of the overarching vision as well as the individual projects.
 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
 We’re looking for a culturally aware, insight‑driven creative leader with a bold point of view and a deep connection to sport and youth culture. You know how to turn strategy into storytelling, guide world‑class creative work across platforms, and collaborate confidently in a global matrix environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Genuine passion for sport and its cultural influence.

  • Extensive experience in leading projects and teams across research, concepting, design, production and execution stages.

  • Deep expertise in culture‑driven and youth‑focused insights and creative, engaging our most progressive consumers across multiple platforms.

  • Turn insights and ideas into bold, innovative and clear concepts.

  • Mastery of art direction & design knowledge, delivering outstanding photography, graphic design, video content, experiences and digital design.

  • Significant experience working in entertainment, and / or with tier 1 celebrities or cultural figures.

  • Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams, functions, and regions.

  • Comfort navigating complex environments and diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership of large‑scale creative projects in a global matrix.

  • Clear, confident, influential presentation skills.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Together with the team, you will work on highly collaborative and creative projects linked to product and partnership launches, or big sport / cultural moment. You’ll drive the boundary-pushing creative direction for the collaboration, inclusive of world building, campaign ideation and execution, branding, experience design and beyond.
