WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within the Visual Merchandising & Styling (VMS) team, a creative and strategic function shaping premium consumer experiences for the Nike brand. Reporting into the Retail Marketing Director, this leader manages VMS talent and partners closely with Nike Marketplace Partners (NMP), Partner Account Marketing, Merchandising, Operations and regional VMS teams across the Pacific.

  • This role is based in our Australia HQ in Melbourne.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, product merchandising or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
  • Footwear and apparel retail experience preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead Visual Merchandising & Styling across the Pacific NMP landscape, setting the strategy and driving execution that brings Nike’s brand vision to life in store. Your focus is on clarity, consistency and impact - ensuring every consumer experience feels premium, relevant and performance‑driven.

  • Develop and lead local‑level NMP VMS strategies aligned to brand and business priorities.
  • Translate global and regional VMS direction into clear, executable plans for partners and field teams.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Operations and regional VMS to deliver seasonal excellence.
  • Lead, coach and develop VMS talent, deploying training curriculum and building future capability.
  • Spend significant time in stores, adapting concepts to local environments while protecting brand standards.
  • Share feedback, insights and best practices with regional teams to shape future seasons and tools.
  • Support door mapping, store openings and sustained performance across Pacific.
