Planning Manager - Semiconductor Projects
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager with a strong background in semiconductor facility projects. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource management for large-scale industrial and high-tech projects. This role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and providing strategic planning support to achieve project objectives.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Ensure alignment of schedules with project milestones and deliverables.
Resource & Cost Planning:
- Coordinate resource allocation and cost forecasting.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
- Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance.
Risk & Change Management:
- Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage change orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of planning activities and audits.
- Track and report project performance metrics (progress, productivity, delays) to stakeholders.
- Support cost control and forecasting activities by integrating schedule and budget data.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- 12+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facility projects.
- Primavera P6 certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for industrial/high-tech projects.
- Exposure to semiconductor facility construction and cleanroom environments.
- Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling and planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools.
- Knowledge of international standards and local codes for project planning.
- Strong understanding of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) workflows and project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Construction Management.
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield semiconductor projects.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and advanced planning methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
