Pick & Pack Junior Manager – Monterrey, MX

Sola Wood Flowers is looking for a Pick & Pack Junior Manager to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico.

In this role, you will help oversee the day-to-day pick, pack, and shipping operations at our facility. You’ll work closely with our operations team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

We are open on experience level and comfortable hiring someone with between 2 to 5+ years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or light manufacturing is preferred but not required; attitude, work ethic, and cultural fit matter most.

Who are we?

At Sola Wood Flowers, we are transforming what artificial flowers can be by providing better flowers for less with our affordable eco-friendly wooden flowers and currently serve over 6% of American weddings annually.

What is our culture like & who is a good fit?

Culture-fit is our #1 factor when hiring!

We have a genuine will-to-win. No work is beneath us if it moves us towards our goals.

We utilize creativity to do more with less – and quickly!

We use data to make decisions. The only “arguments” we get in are about how we should be collecting data, and how we should be analyzing it.

We love learning – every problem is an opportunity to grow.

If you want a stress-free corporate 9-5 job, this isn’t it.

If you want to:

Shape a fast-growing company – and scale it to $100mm+.

Drive results with a group of passionate, smart & hardworking fun people.

Work in an environment without politics, busy work, or corporate chicanery.

Participate meaningfully in our growth with an excellent compensation package that is clearly defined via our compensation philosophy.

Then you have come to the right place.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating daily pick, pack, and shipping workflows to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
  • Help maintain inventory accuracy by supporting cycle counts, stock organization, and receiving incoming shipments.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new pick and pack team members.
  • Help enforce quality control standards across the packing process to minimize errors and returns.
  • Communicate order status, delays, or issues to the operations team in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Track basic productivity metrics and flag areas for improvement to your manager.
  • Jump in and pack orders alongside the team during peak periods – no task is beneath you.

Requirements:

  • Onsite at our facility in Monterrey, MX.
  • Fluent in Spanish. Conversational English is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or light manufacturing environment preferred. We will also consider candidates with less experience who demonstrate the right attitude and work ethic.
  • Comfortable with advanced computer use (scanning, inventory systems, spreadsheets) including ERPs.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift packages, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Are able to provide references as requested. We do not want to waste your time or ours with a potential mishire. Our interview process is detailed & thorough.
  • No issue working 50+ hours routinely.
  • Excellent cultural fit as per our values above.

How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate:

  • When hiring, we’ll work with you to define the KPIs you’ll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you’re doing a good job after you start.
  • Initial soft interview, then a long-form live technical interview with the appropriate department. Our average time-to-hire from our first interview is ~8 – 10 days. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.
  • We run on EOS/Traction. If you’ve used Scaling Up or something like OKRs, you’ll likely slip into Traction easily! If you haven’t used it before, we recommend quickly researching Traction.

Who Should NOT Apply?

  • Those that do not align with our values above.
  • If you do not take pride in your work, and see it as a craft that you’d like to refine and be the absolute best at, then you are not a good fit.
  • Not OK with ~50+ hours per week.
  • Those that do not practice or believe in self-learning.
