Main Responsibilities : Ensure the operation and monitoring of petrochemical and gas installations to guarantee performance, safety, and compliance with standards. Optimize existing processes, monitor material/energy balances, and propose operational adjustments to reduce losses or inefficiencies. Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to limit downtime and maximize unit availability. Monitor performance indicators and product quality, identify deviations, and propose technical solutions. Apply and ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards on site (safety, environment, local regulations). Draft and update operational procedures and reports, and participate in operator training if necessary. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and optimization ideas, without responsibility for designing new units. Required Skills : Strong understanding of petrochemical and gas industrial processes (material/energy balances, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer phenomena). Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, or equivalent). Strict knowledge of safety and HSE rules applicable to LNG / gas installations: risks related to hydrogen, hydrocarbons, cryogenics, and safety systems. Ability to analyze operational deviations, propose corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement. Rigor, autonomy, team spirit, and initiative.
