Partner Incentive & Deal Construct Strategist, AWS Partner Investment & Incentive
AWS Partner Investments & Incentives manages multi-billion dollar partner investments across thousands of partners, driving significant channel revenue and supporting the growth of AWS's global partner ecosystem. We are seeking a strategic leader to own the end-to-end design, automation, and partner experience for deal-level constructs and incentive workflows that enable our partners to accelerate customer adoption of AWS services.
In this role, you will define and execute the strategy for partner deal assistance programs and build a scalable platform covering strategic agreements, professional services, and other partner deal constructs. You will drive operational excellence by transforming manual, geo-inconsistent processes into automated, partner-friendly workflows that reduce deal processing time, improve partner satisfaction, and unlock substantial channel revenue velocity. As the integration point for AWS's broader AI automation roadmap, you will ensure deal construct automation is natively embedded into our partner and sales ecosystem, enabling self-service capabilities and intelligent recommendations that save partners significant time annually.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the Head of Global Partner Investments and Incentives. You will orchestrate alignment across multiple cross-functional teams including Partner Management, Finance, Legal, Commerce Platform, and Sales Operations, while influencing VP-level investment decisions. Your work will directly support transformational programs that protect substantial annual partner cash payouts and enable sustainable scale as AWS's partner ecosystem continues its exponential growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end strategy, process design, and automation roadmap for partner deal assistance programs, including eligibility determination, approval workflows, payment execution, and partner visibility
- Define and deliver a unified, self-service platform enabling partners to model, submit, and track deal-level constructs through a single experience
- Drive integration into AWS's AI automation roadmap, ensuring deal workflows are built with API-first design principles and intelligent automation capabilities
- Orchestrate cross-functional alignment across multiple teams to eliminate manual touchpoints and scale deal construct automation
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for deal processing time, automation rate, partner satisfaction, payment accuracy, and AI adoption metrics
- Influence senior leadership on investment prioritization for partner experience improvements and represent requirements in annual planning cycles

The AWS Partner Investments & Incentives team is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing the investment programs that fuel AWS's substantial partner revenue engine. We manage funding mechanisms spanning cash, credits, and discounts across numerous programs, supporting thousands of partners ranging from global systems integrators to emerging software vendors. Our team operates at the intersection of partner strategy, finance operations, and technical automation—driving both program design and workflow automation. Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience
- Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level- Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with either solutions or programs that have demonstrated success at enterprise customers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
