We’re looking for a Sr Software Dev Eng - TEST who combines superb technical, analytical, and operational capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working closely with a team of top-notch software developers to develop and execute on verification strategy to certify our software. We’re looking for someone who innovates, and loves solving hard problems. You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!


Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Experience in software-testing techniques (like equivalence class partitioning), and software testing life cycle
- Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems
- * Experience with hardware- and software-in-the-loop simulation test environments
- * Experience leading teams that deliver DO-178C certified software

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
