As a senior or lead data analyst in the Commercial Lines (CL) organization, you’ll drive the success of paid search and affiliate marketing campaigns. In this role, you’ll identify important data points for performance and lead analysis for media optimization initiatives. You’ll collaborate with analysts across the CL organization, third-party vendors, and other business units to advance media capabilities and deliver actionable insights that shape media strategy. You’ll work to identify campaign needs and turn them into action while consistently providing collaborators with status updates to ensure alignment and progress. You’ll also measure the effectiveness of media campaigns, conduct exploratory analyses to uncover growth opportunities, and facilitate conversations between teams to align on success metrics and strategies.
Remote work allowed with travel to the Progressive Headquarters for team events 3-4 times per year.
Must-have qualifications
- A minimum of six years of analytical work experience.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience.
Preferred skills
- Demonstrated experience analyzing paid search or pay‑per‑click marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of media measurement and marketing attribution methodologies
- Advanced programming proficiency (e.g., Python, SQL, SAS, or R) and the ability to quickly learn and leverage data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively in team‑oriented environments, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic setting
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, with a track record of using data to inform decisions; highly organized with strong data management and multitasking capabilities in fast‑paced environments
Compensation
- $81,400 - $131,200/year depending on position level and experience
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
