How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Evaluation and treatment of upper extremity orthopedic conditions (e.g., fractures, tendon injuries, post-surgical repairs, repetitive strain injuries).
• Management of neurological conditions impacting hand and arm function (e.g., stroke, nerve injuries, neuropathies).
• Fabrication and fitting of custom orthoses/splints as clinically indicated.
• Development and progression of individualized treatment plans based on clinical presentation and functional goals.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date required. A valid license pending letter will be accepted until license is issued.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Prior Outpatient experience is a must.
• 2 years OT experience.
