Naval Architect (m/w/d)

Key responsibilities: Perform structural, stability, fatigue and FEM analyses using ANSYS, Inventor or similar applications. Design load‑spreading systems, grillage structures, and seafastening solutions. Perform global and local strength calculations for barges. Prepare and review stowage, lashing plans and related calculations. Develop engineering documentation including manufacturing drawings, stress analyses, method statements, lifting rigging plans, and relevant technical reports. Conduct motion response analysis using Octopus Office 6. Prepare barge ballast plans and mooring analyses. Supervise cargo‑handling operations when required. Collaborate closely with internal deugro group companies and maintain professional communication with dteq clients.
