What You’ll Do

  • Assist in route scouting for natural product extraction and isolation, performing focused, reproducible laboratory experiments to establish scalable  protocols
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with Enveda’s process chemistry, analytical chemistry, and synthetic biology teams to support isolation strategies for starting materials
  • Generate data to support external CRO and CMO partners, contributing to scalable enrichment and isolation processes
  • Produce experimental data and detailed documentation for intellectual property filings
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and scientific review sessions where experimental learnings are discussed, refined, and codified
  • Contribute to the development of scalable extraction workflows at the frontier of natural product science and modern biotech
  • We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or having completed a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in natural product chemistry, process chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related chemistry field
  • Hands-on proficiency in extraction and isolation techniques such as flash chromatography, HPLC, or prep-HPLC, and a strong foundation in organic or natural products chemistry
  • Someone who finds satisfaction in rigorous, methodical benchwork and understands that reproducibility and precision are the foundation of scalable, transferable chemistry
  • A self-starter who can follow, execute, and iteratively improve SOPs, document experiments with care, and proactively communicate anomalies or unexpected results
  • A collaborative teammate comfortable interfacing with both internal scientists and external CRO and CMO partners in a fast-paced, fully on-site environment
  • A mission-driven scientist excited by the challenge of deriving medicines from natural products
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including the ability to lift up to 25 lbs in a laboratory setting
