- IPE Global is hiring a Monitoring and Data Analytics Expert to lead advanced data analysis, forecasting, monitoring, and evidence generation for its various programmes focused on improving girls' retention in schools, expanding delivery of school-based vocational education (VE), and enhancing young womens participation in skill training and the workforce
- The role will involve reviewing government datasets, conducting data analysis and projections, tracking progress, measuring outcomes, and embedding learnings to ensure evidence-based decision-making
Key Responsibilities
Identify, review and synthesise existing government data systems on demographics, school education (enrolment, transition, drop-out), vocational education, skill development (training, placement and skill shortage/gap), and labour force participation.
Lead forecasting, scenario analysis on school enrolment, drop-out trends, skills demand, economic growth, employment demand, labour force participation and skilling to employment transition for various states.
Undertake sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess implications of policy changes and economic shifts.
Review and finalise programme ME frameworks, including theory of change, KPIs, baseline, results framework, log frames, and design dashboards for tracking performance.
Provide technical guidance to programme teams and build capacity on data use and ME integration.
Support strengthening of government monitoring systems and MIS to generate reliable gender-disaggregated data on education, vocational education coverage, skill development, placement, retention and labour force participation.
Translate complex technical analysis into high-quality donor-ready reports, presentations for senior government officials, learning briefs, and monthly performance reviews using data visualisation tools.
Design and facilitate dipstick studies/surveys to assess programme progress.

Educational Background
Masters degree or higher in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Demography, Public Policy, Social Sciences or a related field from a recognized university.
Work Experience and Expertise:
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in leading data analysis, statistical modelling, ME, and evidence-generation for social sector programmes, with substantial work in education, skills, and/or labour/employment sectors.
In-depth understanding of existing databases on education, skill development, and labour force participation, along with any employment forecast studies and demonstrated ability to work with such datasets.
Proven experience in forecasting, projections, and scenario modelling using survey and administrative datasets.
Proficient in using statistical tools such as R, Stata, Python or similar statistical software for data analysis and forecasting, and adept at using various data visualisation tools.
Experience working with government systems, donor-funded programmes, or large-scale social initiatives is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability of developing high-quality knowledge products tailored for diverse stakeholders, including government, industry, donors and NGOs.
