Job Summary:
We are looking for a result-driven Modern Trade Executive to manage and grow Modern Trade (MT) business. The role involves handling key MT accounts, driving sales, managing distributor relationships, and executing in-store strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Modern Trade sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Manage relationships with key MT chains (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains).
- Coordinate with distributors and ensure smooth supply and availability of products.
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, visibility, and merchandising activities.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal product availability across stores.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Negotiate trade margins, listings, and promotional activities with MT partners.
- Ensure timely execution of trade schemes and promotional campaigns.
- Analyse sales performance and prepare reports for management.
- Identify new MT opportunities and expand distribution network.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and trade agreements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate (FMCG background preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in Modern Trade sales (FMCG preferred).
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations and market dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with experience in sales reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple accounts.
