Medical Receptionist – Bilingual Spanish - Evernorth – Midland TX

The Medical Receptionist (Medical Administrative Senior Rep) is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team who functions under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician. The position provides professional, courteous, and friendly assistance to our customers.

  • Coordinates appointments, handles multiple phone calls, and reschedules/confirm appointments.

  • May handle cash, coordinate, schedule and follow up on phases of a surgery procedure and/or specialty referral appointment.

  • Provides exceptional customer service and maintains patient confidentiality.

  • Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments; physicians, patients, families as well as external contacts, such as employees of other healthcare institutions, community providers and agencies concerning the healthcare of the patient.

  • Responsible for the adoption and demonstration of the Consumer Health Engagement cultural beliefs. Be a role model for the six cultural beliefs to drive personal accountability and organizational results.

What we expect from you:

  • GED/High School Degree

  • At least 1 or more years of medical receptionist experience

  • At least 1 or more years of experience in cash handling, typing, scheduling applications experience preferred.

  • At least 1 or more years of customer service experience

  • Ability to convey information to customers in a warm, clear, concise manner.

  • Ability to always maintain strictest level of patient confidentiality

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid Computer skills

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team oriented

  • Strong time management skills

  • Responsible and reliable

  • Ability to work health center hours

  • Bilingual Spanish

Please note, this role is based full-time in our health center in Midland TX.
