The Role & What You Will Be Doing

This position will lead the local medical team, ensure alignment and execution of local/regional medical strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key healthcare stakeholders to drive meaningful impact for patients and the business.

  • Set and execute a country-wide medical strategy aligned with business priorities.

  • Ensure world-class medical governance, compliance, and risk management.

  • Strengthen our scientific reputation through high‑impact external engagement with experts, institutions, and policymakers.

  • Work in close partnership with regulatory to endure accuracy in documentation

  • Drive medical excellence in product launches, evidence generation, and market access partnerships.

  • Build and develop a high‑performing Medical Affairs organization, fostering talent and future capabilities.

  • Champion digital innovation, data-driven insights, and modern scientific communication.

  • Support health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) initiatives

  • Oversee medical information services and responses to healthcare inquiries

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

  • Broad senior medical leadership in pharma across Medical Affairs.

  • Experience as Country Medical Director as well as regional/global previous interactions, are a differential.

  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and stakeholder influence skills.

  • Proven leadership of high‑performing teams in complex matrix environments.

  • Strong scientific and clinical expertise

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Leadership and team development

  • Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

  • Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
