Lead QA

Job Summary

As QA Lead you will be leading a team of quality analysts and engineers and work closely with the product development to ensure that the product releases are bug free and correspond to the actual

business requirements. Ability to understand business requirements, context of the program/code , deep understanding of SDLC and STLC, good insights in web-technologies and familiarity to various testing processes would be key to success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete QA life cycle and STLC
• Design, prepare test plans, test scripts and execute various test routines including the White box, Black box, Functional and Integration Testing
• Keep track of identified bugs and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
• Mentor, Train and retain a team of quality analysts and engineers
• Work closely with product development teams to ensure proper communication of test results and simulations of bugs
• Work towards automating standard testing procedures

Skillset:

• 5+ years of experience in testing web/mobile based applications
• Experience of testing large and complex cloud-based applications
• Should have completed testing certification ISTQB, ICST (Preferred)
• Exposure to Automation tools for testing would be an added advantage
• Excellent Verbal and Communication Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
