Job Responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, inspect, evaluate, and assess land for acquisition or lease for renewable energy and energy storage projects.
- Develop and support land acquisition strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project development timelines.
- Negotiate land prices, lease terms, and acquisition agreements with landowners and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and engage with landowners, brokers, LGUs, and regulatory agencies throughout the land acquisition process.
- Conduct site visits, desktop research, and legal due diligence on land ownership, land use, and regulatory requirements.
- Support permitting and approval processes related to land and site control.
- Represent the company during meetings, site inspections, consultations, and negotiations.
- Prepare and maintain land databases, maps, pricing benchmarks, and strategic reports.
- Perform other land-related tasks necessary to support project development.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, Real Estate, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in land acquisition, right-of-way, stakeholder engagement, or permitting.
- Strong understanding of real estate processes, land valuation, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience or exposure to the energy or renewable energy sector is highly preferred.
