The Lab scientist is responsible for analytical instruments operation, experiments execution, preliminary experimental data analysis and summary, and developing enabling measurement methodology that correlate lab data with customer data. One will have opportunities to lead improvement projects that makes significant impact to Pall.

This position is part of the SLS department and will be located primarily in Sin-Fong. Depending on assigned tasks and laboratory needs, job duties may also sometimes require working in Zhubei.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Get hands on experiences in advanced analytical tool operation and data interpretation.
  • Develop novel analytical approaches to correlate customer data with lab data.
  • Interact with other functions, such as technical support and sales, get to know the market trend.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance analytical efficiency and throughput, and be leveraged as the best known method globally.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or science is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experiences in lab operation of electronic related business.
  • Hands on experiences in GC-MS, ICP-MS and common chemical analytical method.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, data processing skill is mandatory.
  • Capable of communicating in English when handling engineering and laboratory-related issues.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Filtration process of electronic materials.
  • Knowledges of wet chemicals, CMP slurries, photoresists of semiconductor industry.
