International Tax Manager

Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an International Tax Manager to join the International Motors Tax Department. This role will support a variety of US International tax compliance and strategic initiatives, support business and transactional tax analyses and partner with market teams. ResponsibilitiesMaintains current knowledge of tax laws with a focus in the US international tax area.Supports transfer pricing compliance, including new intercompany transactions and advance pricing agreements, and projects/global tax analyses.Analyzes and documents US international tax implications of company transactions/initiatives.Supports market tax teams with global tax issues.Ensures timely and accurate filing of US international tax returns (i.e., Forms 5471s, 8858, statements, elections, etc.) under a co-sourcing arrangement with a big four accounting firm.Manages US international tax calculations and related analyses for compliance and provision.Identifies and implements process improvements to policies and processes. Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and at least 5 years of accounting, finance or tax experienceAt least 1 years of lead experienceORMaster's degree and at least 3 years of accounting, finance or tax experienceAt least 1 years of lead experienceORAt least 8 years of accounting, finance or tax experienceAt least 1 years of lead experience Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired SkillsPositive attitude, ethics, and values that support our company cultureProven tax experience with a focus on US international tax; transfer pricing experience is not required but a plus.Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance, while handling multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Proficient in applying established standards, resolving a wide range of complex issues of diverse scope, including issues where precedence may not exist.Drives process improvement initiatives within the tax organization.Experience working with research softwareProficient in Microsoft Office products with efficiency in Excel.Proficiency in Alteryx or data visualization tools is a plus.
