Position OverviewInternational Motors is hiring an Industrial Painter – Facilities at our San Antonio location.In this role, you’ll perform industrial painting and coatings work to maintain and improve facility equipment and structures. You’ll use spray guns and manual application techniques across a variety of surfaces and materials, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and compliance standards.This is a 2nd shift position, with hours from 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM Monday - Thursday. The hourly rate is $20.50/hr. ResponsibilitiesPainting & CoatingsPerform power washing & other surface prep activities on interior & exterior surfacesApply industrial coatings, including floor striping, using both spray & manual methodsConduct paint application at heights using lifts or laddersSelect appropriate paints, coatings, & supplies based on surfaces & requirementsEquipment & MaintenanceMaintain painting equipment and tools in proper working orderReport malfunctions and escalate issues as neededOperate mobile equipment such as forklifts and scissor liftsPerform minor drywall and building repairsSafety & ComplianceMaintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety proceduresComply with OSHA and HazMat procedures for storage and handling of materialsWear and maintain required PPE, including respirators when necessaryEnsure all work aligns with company and regulatory safety standardsPlanning & EfficiencyEstimate project timelines and plan accordinglyAssist with continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and efficiencySupport projects and maintenance activities on occasional weekends or non-production days Minimum RequirementsNo minimum qualifications Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
