Indirect Procurement Strategist, WWGS

Responsible for facilitating the global indirect buying programs and related procurement opportunities. Works with the various internal business and external partners to streamline how WFM sources products and services, focusing on partnership, transparency, integrity, and ease of procurement. Strives to maximize process effectiveness and minimize costs.

Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Facilities, Store Operations, and Construction teams to develop and support standardized repair processes, equipment specifications, and maintenance programs.
• Leads contract negotiations with facilities service providers, repair contractors, equipment vendors, and distributor partners to secure competitive pricing, service-level commitments, and operational efficiencies.
• Conducts regular business reviews with major R&M suppliers to evaluate service levels, response times, asset performance, cost trends, and opportunities for preventive maintenance savings.
• Initiates vendor audits and performs onsite facility visits to validate service quality, safety compliance, equipment standards, and adherence to company maintenance protocols.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- 3+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of supply chain experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in procurement
- Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software
- Experience understanding process flow and suggest improvements to deliver cost savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits to the site

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
