About the RoleThe HRIS Senior Systems Analyst at Cushman & Wakefield plays a critical role in protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of People data for approx. 55,000 employees across 60+ countries. This role reporting to the Sr. Manager of People Data Management is accountable for Workday HCM security, access governance, audits, proactive reviews to ensure the right access is granted to the right people, and safeguarding People data assets.
This position requires strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of Workday security and reporting, and a commitment to data governance.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Execute, and maintain least‑privilege access model that balances security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and approve access requests in alignment with security standards, role definitions, and segregation‑of‑duties principles.
- Identify, assess, and remediate access risks, including conflicting roles, excessive privileges, and inappropriate data exposure.
- Lead SOX access controls, user provisioning, de‑provisioning, and periodic access certifications.
- Prepare audit evidence, remediation plans, and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Identify organization details and discrepancies to drive data quality initiatives.
- Monitor data integrity, analyze datasets to identify trends, risks, and integrity issues; present actionable insights to influence decisions.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive, auditable inventory of:
- Workday security groups, integrations, roles, and permissions
- Role purpose, scope, and associated business processes
- Clearly defined role owners, approval authorities, and review cadences
- Educate HR and business partners on security best practices, data protection responsibilities, and access governance expectations.
- Partner closely with HR COEs, IT, Privacy, Legal, and Security teams to align business needs with secure system design.
- Identify opportunities to automate access controls, reporting, and proactive monitoring.
- Monitor Workday releases and assess security impacts to existing configurations.
- Stay current on Workday security capabilities and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in Workday Security, Access Management.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity in a complex, evolving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
- Highly analytical with the ability to use data and metrics to influence decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with stakeholder management.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Workday HCM Pro Certification in Security or Reporting
- Experience supporting Workday in a multi‑country, multi‑entity environment
- Experience with identity governance, access reviews, or IAM tools integrated with Workday.
- Prior experience in a publicly traded or SOX‑regulated organization.
