Health and Safety Engineer
Main Responsibilities: As a Health and Safety Engineer, you will report to the site’s QHSE Manager and play a key role in implementing, monitoring, and improving occupational health and safety systems at one of our industrial sites. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying and assessing occupational risks on the ground (for employees and subcontractors); Participating in the implementation of the site’s HSE action plan and contributing to the continuous improvement of existing systems; Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, in line with local regulations and Group requirements; Participating in internal HSE audits and assisting in the resolution of non-conformities; Monitoring incidents and accidents: conducting analyses, writing reports, and proposing corrective and preventive actions; Ensuring proper use of personal and collective protective equipment; Contributing to training, awareness, and information campaigns for teams; Supporting the site in certification processes (notably ISO 45001); Collaborating cross-functionally with QHSE, maintenance, and production teams. Technical Skills: Knowledge of HSE standards and applicable regulations; Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong observational skills; Strong communication and awareness-building abilities; Proficiency in risk analysis tools, action planning, and performance indicators; Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with site stakeholders. Profile: Degree in QHSE Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within an industrial setting, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors Position based in the South-East region of Morocco, requiring openness to geographic mobility
