Job Summary:

This position is part of the Leadership Team of the East Operations organization, representing Supply Chain in the East business. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient demand planning, problem-solving, and seamless coordination between commercial and manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, excellent analytical abilities, and a proven track record of implementing effective S&OP strategies in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities  

  • Responsible for the East Supply Chain to deliver on CFR, OTIF, Customer Excellence, Cost and Forecast Accuracy metrics
  • Drive a collaborative SC environment that encompasses internal (Sales teams, Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning) and external stakeholders (Customers, Retailers, Vendors, 3PL operators)
  • Drive change by providing content expertise to improvements in processes, systems and work practices with the aim of delivering improved customer experience and cost efficiency
  • Build engagement with external customers and track improvements in customer excellence measures through internal and external surveys
  • Lead and challenge the team to achieve warehouse and logistics operating metrics improvements
  • Work with colleagues from International Logistics Center of Excellence to adapt and adopt relevant best practices
  • Plan and Execute the Integrated Business Planning roadmap to drive effectiveness of S&OP
  • Supporting the Operations, Procurement, FSQ, Marketing and R&D teams in developing, maintaining and executing the Zone initiative program ensuring financial benefits are delivered on time.
  • Gate keep category portfolio projects on behalf of Operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are highly desirable.
  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, with a focus on S&OP and logistics, preferably in Emerging Markets or similar challenging environments.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of supply chain principles, demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing S&OP strategies, driving process improvements, and managing supply chain complexities in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including commercial, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand planning software) is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as required within this region
