Role Description Baratza is looking for a Global Social Media Specialist to help bring our brand to life across social platforms and connect with coffee lovers around the world. This role is responsible for executing Baratza’s global social presence—from content planning and publishing to community engagement, creator collaborations, and performance tracking. This role keeps a close pulse on social conversations and emerging trends across culture, coffee, and adjacent lifestyle spaces. Honing a discerning eye when and where the Baratza voice can authentically and meaningfully participate to create timely, high-impact brand moments. Working closely with Global Brand leadership, Product Marketing, and regional partners, this role ensures Baratza’s social channels consistently reflect our commitment to quality, education, and community within the specialty coffee world. The position plays an important role in supporting product launches, campaigns, and partnerships while maintaining a thoughtful, knowledgeable voice that resonates with both new and experienced coffee enthusiasts. This is an ideal role for someone who combines strong executional skills with creative instincts, platform fluency, and a genuine passion for specialty coffee and storytelling. Required Qualifications •3–5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or lifestyle company. •Demonstrated experience planning and executing social content across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn. •Strong understanding of social media trends, platform formats, and creator-driven storytelling. •Experience managing editorial calendars, scheduling tools, and content workflows. •Strong written communication skills with the ability to maintain a clear and consistent brand voice. •Experience engaging with online communities and responding to audience interactions in a professional and brand-aligned way. •Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners. Preferred •Experience in premium consumer goods, food beverage, lifestyle, or specialty categories. •Familiarity with specialty coffee culture, brewing methods, or the broader coffee ecosystem. •Experience working with creators, influencers, or brand partnership content. •Comfort reviewing basic social analytics and translating insights into actionable improvements. •Experience supporting social content around product launches, events, or marketing campaigns.
