GEO Optimization Expert

About the Role

As an AIO/GEO Specialist at ICICI Lombard, you will lead the strategic optimization of our digital assetsincluding the primary website, product pages, and content ecosystem—for AI-driven search environments such as Google AI Overviews, Bing Deep Search, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other emerging LLM-based engines. This role requires a deep understanding of how AI models interpret, rank, summarize, and generate responses from online content. You will collaborate with content, tech, SEO, and product teams to enhance ICICI Lombard’s visibility, authority, and presence across generative search experiences

Key Responsibilities

AIO / GEO Strategy Development

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AIO (AI Overview Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) roadmap
• Build strategies to boost ICICI Lombard’s presence in AI-generated summaries, answer boxes, citations, and LLM outputs
• Stay updated with AI search trends (Google SGE/AIO, GPT Search, Perplexity Discover, etc.)

Content & Website Optimization for LLMs

• Optimize website structure and content to make it LLM-friendly
• Work with content teams to build LLM-ready content clusters, FAQs, and authoritative knowledge pages

Data Structuring & Technical Enhancements

• Implement advanced schema markup for
• Insurance products
• FAQs
• Reviews
• Pricing
• Coverage details
• Ensure high-quality metadata that improves LLM comprehension
• Collaborate with developers to improve crawlability, indexability, and structured data completeness

Technical SEO

• Perform regular audits to identify issues related to crawlability, indexing, sitemaps, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup
• Partner with the technology team to improve site structure, page performance, and overall technical health

Authority Building for Generative Search

• Enhance domain authority and brand credibility through citations, expert content, authoritative references, partnerships
• Optimize content to be more likely selected as a source for AI responses

Monitoring, Measurement & Insights

• Track performance indicators like:
• AI Overview visibility
• Citations in LLM outputs
• Brand presence in AI-generated answers
• Organic traffic shifts from AI-first engines

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in SEO / Technical SEO / Content Strategy with exposure to AI search
• Hands-on experience with schema markup (JSONLD)
• Familiarity with AI & SEO tools

Content & Analytical Skills

• Ability to create content frameworks optimized for AI interpretation
• Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring impact of AI-driven search experiences
• Comfortable using data to create insights and optimization plans.
