As an exercise specialist, you'll promote a healthy lifestyle to employees through fitness and wellness. In this role, you'll facilitate group exercise classes, coordinate one-on-one virtual and in-person personal training sessions, and develop individual exercise programs. Additionally, you'll encourage members to join in various activities at fitness center and provide live monthly seminars on health, wellness, and nutrition. You'll also assist with the daily operations of the fitness center, ensuring it runs smoothly for members.
Location: This position requires you to report to our Mayfield Village, Ohio office.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexibility to work between the hours of 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or health/fitness related field and a minimum of one-year related experience
- Group Fitness Certification: American Council on Exercise (ACE) and/or Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Certification
- Personal Training Certification: American Council on Exercise (ACE), or Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), or other accredited personal training certification
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
Preferred skills
- Demonstrated experience teaching adult fitness classes.
- Experience with virtual instruction and video content creation.
- Experience instructing specialty classes (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, TRX, strength training, Spin, choreographed classes).
- Experience doing virtual presentations on exercise, meditation, and stress management.
- Certified Health Coach; American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Physiologist Certification
Compensation
- $44,600 - $55,800/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
