EPMO Platform Product Manager
Together we fight for everyone’s opportunity for a better financial future.
We will do this together — with customers, partners and colleagues. We will fight for others, not against: We will stand up for and champion everyone’s access to opportunities. The status quo is not good enough … we believe every individual and every community deserves access to financial opportunities. We are determined to support both individuals and communities in reaching a better financial future. We know that reaching this future depends on our actions today.
Like our Purpose Statement, Voya believes in being bold and committed to action. We are committed to a work environment where the differences that we are born with — and those we acquire throughout our lives — are understood, valued and intentionally pursued. We believe that our employees own our culture and have a responsibility to foster an environment where we all feel comfortable bringing our whole selves to work. Purposefully bringing our differences together to positively influence our culture, serve our clients and enrich our communities is essential to our vision.

Role Overview
The Platform Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, governance, and value realization of Planview and Azure DevOps (ADO) as the enterprise portfolio and delivery management platforms.
This role ensures the platforms are not just implemented, but intentionally designed, consistently used, and continuously evolved to support enterprise decision‑making across strategy, investment planning, capacity, delivery execution, and financial transparency.
You will act as the single point of accountability for the Planview and ADO product—partnering across Business, Technology, Finance, EPMO, and vendors to ensure the platform enables smarter prioritization, predictable execution, and trusted insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Planview and ADO Product Strategies
- Define and maintain the Planview and ADO product vision and multi‑year roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy and portfolio maturity.
- Translate business and EPMO needs into clear platform capabilities, enhancements, and priorities.
- Balance standardization and flexibility to support multiple delivery models while preserving data integrity.
- Manage the Platform Backlog & Roadmap
- Own and prioritize the Planview and ADO backlogs, including enhancements, integrations, workflow automation, technical debt, and user experience improvements.
- Apply a value‑based prioritization lens (business value, risk reduction, compliance needs, adoption impact).
- Coordinate roadmap delivery across internal technology teams and external vendors.
- Platform Governance & Standards
- Define and govern how Planview and ADO are used across the enterprise, including data standards, required fields, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Ensure Planview supports and reinforces portfolio, financial, capacity, and delivery governance.
- Serve as Planview and ADO point‑of‑contact for audit, risk, and compliance needs, including control evidence and reporting traceability.
- Adoption, Enablement & Change
- Drive enterprise adoption and maturity of Planview and ADO through onboarding, training, communications, and enablement.
- Lead Change Management activities to ensure new capabilities are understood, adopted, and sustained.
- Monitor usage patterns, data quality, and behaviors—intervening where adoption or discipline breaks down.
- Insights & Decision Enablement
- Ensure Planview functions as an authoritative source of truth for portfolio, delivery, financial, and capacity data.
- Partner with analytics teams to enable decision‑ready insights and executive dashboards.
- Promote “collect once, use many” principles to reduce duplication and improve data reliability.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Partnership
- Act as the primary interface between Business leaders, Portfolio owners, EPMO, Finance, Technology, and Planview vendors.
- Facilitate tradeoff discussions across competing priorities using data, scenarios, and implications.
- Manage Planview vendor relationships, licensing, support, renewals, and cost optimization opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
You are a product‑minded platform leader who:
- Thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and data
- Thinks in systems and outcomes—not just features
- Influences without authority in complex, matrixed environments
- Values governance discipline while enabling flexibility and speed
- Cares deeply about usability, adoption, and real business impact
Required
- 8+ years of experience in platform ownership, product management, EPMO/PMO operations, portfolio management, or enterprise delivery enablement
- Hands‑on experience owning or deeply supporting Planview (any combination of Portfolio, Work, Resource, Financial, or Capacity modules)
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect platforms to portfolio and investment decisions
- Excellent stakeholder communication and prioritization skills
Preferred
- Experience in regulated or audit‑aware environments
- Experience integrating Planview with financial, HR, or delivery tools (e.g., ERP, HRIS, Agile tools, BI)
- Experience supporting executive‑level portfolio reporting and investment governance
