Environmental Manager

As an Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for leading and deploying the site’s environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements as well as Group standards. You will play a key role in implementing environmental management systems, controlling the environmental impacts of operational activities, and driving continuous improvement in environmental perforamance. In this role, you will monitor key indicators, report to management, and support field teams in adopting best environmental practices. Key Responsibilities : Define, lead, and deploy the site’s environmental strategy in alignment with Group guidelines and international standards; Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable local and international environmental requirements; Oversee operational environmental management, including waste, water, emissions, discharges, and environmental impacts; Implement environmental management systems and ensure their continuous improvement ; Conduct internal and external environmental audits, analyze gaps, and manage corrective action plans; Monitor environmental performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to management; Implement awareness, training, and engagement initiatives to promote best environmental practices among operational teams; Contribute to environmental risk management and preparation for inspections and regulatory controls.
