Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide engineering infrastructure services team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. What you’ll achieve

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, and ongoing maintenance of R&D and laboratory infrastructure supporting engineering cloud production environments. You will plan and manage lab layouts, oversee equipment setup and lifecycle activities (utilization, upgrades, and archiving), and ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of servers and storage systems.

You will use test and diagnostic tools to perform equipment validation, characterization, and preventive maintenance, while partnering closely with engineering teams to define hardware configuration test plans that enable software development and product validation. Acting as a technical point of contact, you will provide expert support to internal users, collaborate with vendors to integrate new technologies, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast‑paced lab environment—ensuring seamless operations and high‑quality outcomes for external customer product development.



You will:
·Build and Operate our expanded production hosting environment in Durham

·Provide remote support for hosting environments worldwide

·Modernize our processes with automation and AI to improve our services and efficiency
