Your Impact:
- To plan, deploy, and secure operational technology (OT) infrastructure across global mining operations, integrating the OTIS stack, managing cloud/data center/compute platforms and vendor relationships—while improving reliability and optimizing costs.
As Part of Our Team, You Will:
- Monitor latest developments in mining and processing on-premises and cloud computing, data center technologies, virtualization, Azure Stack Cloud managed solutions, storage solutions, and data transfer / communications technologies.
- Plan, build, and implement technologies across the entire IT stack.
- Support ongoing operational strategy for critical mining and processing compute platforms, multi-geolocated cloud services and hosting / data center operations, and core Active Directory services across OTIS solutions.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and partners including mining and processing software providers, cloud service providers, and third party information technology service providers. Assist in developing scopes of work with third-party IT service providers.
- Monitor and diagnose the performance and capacity of all cloud and on-premises information technology systems hosted in data centers, servers / compute platforms, and storage infrastructure.
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure OTIS data and services, migrated to the cloud, are secure and leverage efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to establish and carry out robust security measures for all cloud, on-premises, server / compute and storage infrastructure.
- Drive the optimization of licensing, software, hardware, cloud, server / compute, and storage resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support and carry out capital IT projects that provide the ongoing and efficient delivery of OTIS cloud and computing services.
- Support acquisitions, divestitures, and merger activities ensuring activities meet security, availability, and integrity requirements.

Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist:
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or other.
Additional Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of Information Technology across several different disciplines, providing understanding of complex, interconnected systems and technology.
- Deep understanding of the mining industry, including tools, technologies, and vendor landscape is required.
- Must possess strong business acumen and understanding of mining value chain.
- Deep knowledge of IT and OT solution providers, technology stacks, and related ecosystems building understanding and strategy of vendor landscape and capabilities.
- Project management knowledge and understanding.
- Knowledge creating technical details / scopes of work.
- Knowledge of cloud, compute platform, and licensing cost optimization.
Experience:
- Experience and deep knowledge of working in a global company, successfully working across different cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
- Supporting relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Ability to provide technical management to multiple projects simultaneously, supporting the on-time and within budget delivery.
- Ability to coach and mentor third party service providers.
