Role Overview:
We are implementing Dynatrace as our primary monitoring platform and need an expert to help build out our monitoring infrastructure. This role will be responsible for creating custom dashboards, monitors, and helping development teams integrate their systems into Dynatrace.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create custom Dynatrace dashboards
- Build custom monitors and alerting systems
- Help integrate various systems into Dynatrace monitoring
- Interface with development groups to understand monitoring requirements
- Provide guidance on what needs to be monitored and how to implement it
- Train development teams on Dynatrace integration best practices
- Support initial platform build-out and configuration
- Collaborate with data teams and AI/data warehouse initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- **Expert-level knowledge of Dynatrace** platform
- Experience creating custom dashboards and monitoring solutions
- Strong understanding of **DevOps monitoring practices**
- Knowledge of system integration and monitoring setup
- Experience with similar platforms (Datadog, Splunk) is a plus
- Ability to work with development teams and translate requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Technical Environment
- New Dynatrace implementation (ground-up build)
- Integration with multiple development environments
- Collaboration with US-based development and data teams
- Windows 365 cloud instance provided
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise monitoring implementations
- Background working with development teams
- Understanding of application performance monitoring (APM)
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring best practices
- Experience with monitoring in cloud environments
