Director of PMO
About the role: Breville are hiring a Director, Program Management Office (Transformation PMO), this is a global role within Technology Services, with enterprise-wide reach. The position leads approximately six direct reports, including Program, Project and Change Managers, and reports to the Group Software Products Officer. Breville is evolving Technology Services into an AI-led capability by embedding AI safely and pragmatically into how we build, run and improve the business. We are seeking a transformational leader to build and lead our next-generation Transformation PMO, designed as a hybrid execution engine and enablement platform that accelerates delivery today while scaling responsible AI transformation across the enterprise. The mission is to build the operating system for transformation, with clear priorities, fast decisions, measurable value and adoption that endures. What you’ll do Stand up the Hybrid Transformation PMO: operating model, service catalogue, ways of working, and a high-performing team. Create a scalable delivery system (Agile/Hybrid): charters/OKRs, integrated plans, RAID, decision logs, benefits tracking - right-sized to keep pace with innovation. Build and embed an AI transformation delivery framework (intake → prioritisation → experiment → rollout → adoption → benefits) across departments. Enable repeatable transformation at scale with playbooks, templates, learning pathways, communities of practice and coaching. Lead portfolio governance: quarterly planning, prioritisation, investment discipline, capacity/dependencies and executive reporting. Personally lead selected high-impact, multi-stream initiatives where cross-functional alignment and adoption are critical. Embed responsible AI delivery practices (privacy, security, risk, ethics and controls) while balancing innovation, safety and security. What success looks like (Years 1–3) Year 1: PMO fully up and running—trusted, outcome-driven, modern tooling live, portfolio clarity in place, AI framework driving scaled rollouts. Years 1–2: Technology Services becomes BRG’s benchmark for predictable delivery and AI-enabled ways of working—step-change gains in speed, quality and decision-making. Year 2: Departments equipped with fit-for-purpose governance, playbooks and coaching to run more transformation confidently and consistently. Years 2–3: AI moves beyond pilots into repeatable, responsible rollouts that re-engineer priority processes and deliver measurable adoption and benefits. Year 3: BRG operates as a category-defining, AI-led business—unlocking breakthrough scalability, efficiency and customer impact.
