Customs Professional
Key Responsibilities
Develops Implement plans and solutions in order to ensure Customs compliance and process optimization. Contributes to the definition and implementation of Customs Control regulations in own area of responsibility.
- Defines and Implement country specific Customs processes and procedures
- Managing and liaising with all External stake holders for effective implementation of process
- Provides tailor made solutions to meet business requirement to become business enabler
- Ensure that all internal rules and regulations are complied with law of land
- Monitors and ensures corrective actions derived from external and internal changing laws, reviews and audits.
- Carries out trainings and reviews to guarantee adherence to Customs regulations like AERB, BIS WPC
- Enables consulting for other organizational units as well as Best Practice Sharing for Import export
- Deep knowledge on classification of Materials based on HSN
- In-depth knowledge of functioning of ministries pertains to Healthcare / FMCG sector
Experience:
- Minimum 15 Years of relevant experience in Import Export related compliances
- Strong knowledge of compliance documentation requirements,
- Process improvisation, Refund process
- Must have knowledge of dealing with Brokers for Custom Clearances
Qualification:
- An Engineering graduate or MBA would be preferred
- Experience in Healthcare Industry will be added advantage
