Job overview and responsibilities:

Technical Records Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and compliance of maintenance records within the aviation industry. This role is accountable for the timely receipt, audit, routing, database updates, and secure retention of aircraft maintenance compliance records, in either paper or electronic format. Coordinators ensure that individual transactions and document handling contribute to the integrity and accuracy of the overall maintenance compliance record, in support of FAA and company retention and operational requirements. The position requires close coordination with department staff, attention to detail, and adherence to document control standards to support regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

  • Tasked with the daily implementation of department policies and procedures to ensure the prompt receipt, accountability, auditing, and distribution of maintenance compliance records, physical and digital, relevant to the assigned function and/or fleet types.
  • Accountable for assisting in ensuring the maintenance compliance records are retained in a timely, secure, complete, and accurate manner, adhering to the retention requirements per CFR 121.380, corporate guidelines, and departmental standards, specific to functional or fleet-related maintenance records.
  • Manage and coordinate records and status reports related to recurring inspections, deferrals, audits and special projects (i.e. aircraft exists, FAA audits, data migrations, external FAA/Legal/Other department requests, etc) for functional or fleet specific status reports and/or maintenance compliance records.
  • Process and convert specific paper records to electronic format, as prescribed by department policies, procedures and special historical records projects.
  • Tasked with handling special assignments and projects as directed.
  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance of scanners, including routine cleaning and replacing consumable components.

 

 

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

 

  • High school diploma or GED/ education equivalent
  • Proficient in data entry
  • Capable of lifting 25-pound boxes
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship and SIDA badge eligible required

 

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

 

  • Associate/BS/BA degree, or equivalent aviation maintenance experience.

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $41,610.00 to $54,252.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
