Job overview and responsibilities


Analyst – Technical Records is responsible for implementation of procedures and controls established within department or responsible functional group (or fleet type), in accordance with FAA, GMM and department DOP regulations, policies and procedures.  Responsible for the overall mainframe forecast establishment, updates, audits and accuracy.  Ensure that individual transactions and decisions result in complete and accurate mainframe tracking system, maintenance compliance records and status reports; that are maintained in accordance with the FAA, corporate and department retention policies.                

  • Ability to navigate and comprehend information from manuals and documents such as but not limited to the General Maintenance Manual, Engineering Authorizations and Engineering Change Request Approvals, Task Cards, 8130s, and Maintenance Worksheets.
  • Verify correct implementation of maintenance programs and LLP forecasts through research, investigation, audit, analysis, discrepancy issuance and resolution of maintenance tasks completed by maintenance, OEMs or outside vendors for proper documentation and forecast accuracy including the receipt, audit, and retention of compliance records (paper or electronic). Implementation and forecast verification of perpetual maintenance programs to ensure proper forecasting for the life of the program
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks to ensure the quality, integrity, and completeness of maintenance records in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment
  • Oversee the induction of a new aircraft and/or engine into the UA tracking system utilizing OEM documentation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Leverage strong communication skills to proactively resolve discrepancies, ensure alignment with technical groups, and maintain professional rapport with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Attend mandatory planning/organizational/project meetings as necessary which may require up to 10% travel to various domestic and/or international locations and necessitate a valid passport (or the ability to obtain a valid passport) to facilitate international travel obligations if needed.
  • Ability to audit and induct used assets by validation of industry standard documents that may require communication of deficiencies to meet United standards for proper operation within deadlines and minimal impact to operation.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

 

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of aviation experience
  • Experience using automated workflow tools
  • Proficiency in concurrent use of multiple computer applications
  • General understanding of aviation M&E systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship and be SIDA badge eligible


What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

 

  • BS/BA degree, or equivalent aviation maintenance experience preferred
  • 4 years of aviation experience using M&E system
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) knowledge

The base pay range for this role is $61,465.00 to $80,110.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
